“What To Wear For” is another video arrangement propelled by a question I am asked day by day by ladies (and folks), and that I ask myself consistently while floating to rest (yes, truly): What do I wear for?! (A wedding when your ex is there, the second immeasurably vital date, a long-separate business flight with colleagues…the convoluted closet route list continues endlessly.)
Frankly, the genuine “ah-ha” minute came when I needed to spend 90 minutes making sense of what to wear for my Visa application meet at the U.S. consulate. What do I wear for a meeting with the U.S. government? I pondered. An overcoat and pants are excessively exhausting! (I’m applying for an inventive visa, all things considered). Thick heels with edited high-waisted jeans are excessively design. Floaty femme dress = excessively lively. It continued forever and I attempted no less than 10 looks before getting out the entryway—wearing the most exhausting dark jeans and dark sweater ever.
So after (many!) years of dispensing style advice for Marie Claire and on TV, I decided it’s time to put together a weekly series of editorialized fashion how-tos. Stylish, fun, quick, smart, and sharable videos, because we all and ONLY dress for the situation.
Here, in our first edition, we’re cracking the code on office holiday-party dressing (the hardest!)—watch below, and stay tuned for more tips, tricks, and style saves.
