A bizarre theory appeared right after some activists are rallied for support people with HIV. After that rally, some of the activists announced to press, “dating apps are unfair.” but in a weird way.
Actually, many of people supporting that idea because those apps are for everyone, for every gender and situation. Diseases like HIV are absolute “no” for regular daters but what if you could match with someone carrying HIV like you?
Right now, dating app developers are working on that. Especially apps like Grindr working to add a question like “What is your current HIV status?” and in the future, probably they are going to allow search people with HIV status so people with or without HIV date safe.
This idea got support from many of people but authorities are not in the same page. Dr. Eric Schtiamshaw, professor of sociomedical sciences at Columbia University, states that could bring false sense of security and bring more harm than good. Also, there are plenty of researchers supporting that idea.
